AI video generation is making it possible to turn an ordinary photo into an impressive Bollywood-style dance video. With the right prompt, you can use a photo of almost anyone and create a short cinematic dance performance with realistic movements, expressions and camera motion.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a Shah Rukh Khan-inspired Bollywood dance AI video using a photo and a detailed video prompt. You can also use a dance reference video to guide the choreography, so the generated character follows similar hand movements, footwork, turns, poses and timing.

How to Create the Video

First, upload a clear photo of the person you want to use. A full-body photo usually works better for dance movements. If your video AI supports reference videos, upload a short dance clip as the motion reference.

⚡ AI VIDEO PROMPT
Cinematic full-body shot of a couple dancing on a dark wooden stage under a single dramatic top-down spotlight with a solid pitch-black background. A man in a sharp black tailored tuxedo and a woman in an elegant, flowing crimson-red saree. They step forward to align raised right palms, transitioning smoothly into a full 360-degree clockwise underarm spin by the woman. She extends outward into a taut one-handed diagonal reach before being pulled inward into another tight spin. The man immediately catches her under her back and knees into a horizontal chest-high cradle lift, executing a smooth 180-degree rotational pivot across the floor, finishing in a dramatic freeze dip. Fluid fabric physics, photorealistic 4K, chiaroscuro theatrical lighting, crisp motion blur 24fps.

For better results, keep the reference dance video short and make sure the dancer's full body is visible. You can also describe the choreography in small time sections, such as the opening pose, hand movement, footwork, turn and final pose.

The original song does not have to be used. The visual choreography and music can be generated separately, allowing you to use suitable instrumental music instead.
This same technique can be adapted for different Bollywood dance styles, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other cinematic AI dance videos.

Note- If you use another person's photo, make sure you have appropriate permission. AI-generated videos should also be presented as AI-generated content rather than as genuine footage of a real person.
